OAS, Inc Recent Seminar on “Building Your House of Damages with Economic Experts” Was a Huge Success!

Ed Provder  recently spoke at the Brooklyn Bar Association alongside the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers (NYSATL) on “Building Your House of Damages with Economic Experts.” The seminar included multiple experts who shared best practices for determining damages during a trial.

A majority of the discussions focused on various categories, but more specifically the ones that are typically in New York City.

Ed Provder, President and Founder of Occupational Assessment Services, Inc., discussed his  economic houses of damages  model, which includes a physician at the base, a vocational expert as the frame, and an economic expert as the roof thus building the house.

Ed stated, “a physician is necessary for any case involving injury or malpractice, and an economic expert is necessary to establish values”, but pointed out that people shouldn’t overlook  vocational experts .
