A Vocational Evaluation Can Help Veterans Receive TDIU

A Vocational Evaluation Can Help Veterans Receive TDIU

Occupational Assessment Services, Inc. (OAS) has recently published an informative video on the nearly 4 million individuals who receive Veteran’s Compensation benefits for “service-connected” disabilities. Such disabilities result from disease or injury incurred or aggravated during active military service.

Many of these veterans are severely disabled and are unable to work. Of them, 1.1 million have a disability rating of 70% or higher—which can qualify for over $3,000 per month in VA Benefits.

Facing complicated rules and regulations, many veterans and attorneys rely on Vocational Experts. The Vocational Experts at OAS offer a  Veteran’s Vocational Evaluation —designed to determine a claimant’s Individual Employability—that consists of four parts:

1. Medical Document Review
2. Vocational Diagnostic Interview
3. Vocational Aptitude Testing
4. Labor Market Research

With this information, OAS can assist applicants—or their attorneys—who seek Veteran’s Disability Benefits by confirming or reinforcing a veteran’s inability to secure and follow a “substantial gainful occupation” due to service-connected disabilities.

The Report

OAS provides clients with comprehensive Vocational Expert reports—written in the precise language of the Veteran’s Administration—that help document veterans’ claim for Total Disability. With these, OAS has assisted many injured veterans to receive benefits they earned through service.
